You simply create a unique ticket that is registered under the account to which it belongs. As a result, communication - always with the right person within the organisation – becomes faster and easier.
The PackControl Ticketing Module is designed for and with the people in the industry. You can define Ticket Stages, which indicate which process step the ticket is in, based on the usual method or workflow within your company.
In each account, you can specify who is the responsible person at your counterparty. Do you have multiple contacts, such as the warehouse manager and the finance director? You can include them both so that your message always reaches the right person.
You can also define responsibilities per relation. For example, if it’s not the supplier, but the carrier who is responsible for RTIs, you can specify that in PackControl. If a claim needs to be made for lost or damaged packaging items, it will automatically be sent to the right counterparty.
You'll easily identify discrepancies in the (automatically or manually) recorded packaging transactions. Warehouse workers can indicate whether quanties are correct and damage or missing items are noted. Meanwhile PackControl automatically compares the expected quantity with what actually arrives. This way you always have the right data in your system.
Within the registered transaction, you can easily create a ticket. The transaction data are automatically included in it. You indicate what is wrong or needs to be adjusted and add any relevant documents. With the push of a button, you can send the message from PackControl to the right person at your customer, supplier or carrier.
The counterparty receives a notification and can log in to the PackControl Ticket Module to respond to the claim directly in the software. You have previously sent each party their portal login directly from the PackControl software. Counterparties do not need to have their own (paid) PackControl subscriptions to log in to the portal and will only see the data relevant to their account.
The other party can immediately see which transaction this claim is about. In other words, it can be quickly referenced and easily reconciled without endless debate. If the other party agrees with the notification or the proposed solution, a simple click on 'Confirm' is enough to settle the claim. The other party can also send a message within the module. All messages can always be found under the relevant account.
In this clear system, both the sender and the recipient of the ticket always have a clear view of open tickets and where action is needed. Tickets are never overlooked or forgotten. If a counterparty does not respond, you can easily send a reminder and communication between parties is also conveniently stored in this module. Searches are easy and you can also clearly see which party is more likely to be at fault. This allows you to take measures or adjust your conditions in good time.
In your tickets dashboard, you can clearly see which tickets are still open, which have been rejected or closed, where attention is needed and which claims have been resolved. The ticket solution is immediately included in your packaging records, thus restoring your balance.
